I’ve been sitting on the idea of sharing my journey with postpartum depression/anxiety for quite some time now. It wasn’t until the pandemic that I started brainstorming ideas. Now here we are a year later launching Pa’lante Vamos (going forward).
Yes, I know there are tons and tons of bloggers who talk about their experiences, but another thing I know, is that everyone has different audiences. So, I’m giving it a shot!
After finally accepting that I needed help in 2019, I started seeing a therapist for postpartum depression. Fighting it took therapy, tools I received in therapy, journaling, support from my husband as well as doing things I enjoy, like hiking! This is how Pa’lante Vamos came to life, I want to share my experiences as well as resources out there for those moms who need it. It takes a lot to accept that something is wrong, please know that you are not alone.
One thing that helps me is going out into nature and taking hikes which is why I’ll also share about different parks we visit. Sometimes when I’m looking up a park I want to know a little more and what to expect. By no means am I an expert on hikes and parks, I continue to learn a little more each trip!
